FW16 Lookbook

Winter is about to be anything but boring with a rainbow of colours, larger than life silhouettes and an edgy attitude. Think back 7 months ago, when we were sick of the colder temperatures and dreaming of beaches, meanwhile fashion goers were dreaming up all the fall fashion we’re seeing in store now. Cold weather we've been waiting for you. Here are some of our favourite pieces from FW16:

There’s always been a thing with fashion girls and fur, and for most that means faux. Margot Tenenbaum drew us in with that full fur coat and since then all we want to do is snuggle in these jackets all season long. With the addition of coloured fur freshening up the jacket sections, the race is on for who finds the perfect coat first.

Don't be afraid of the flare! Wide leg pants are back and this Flare jean is a flattering silhouette. Dress them up with some volume on top like this bow blouse.

Maison Scotch Leopard Coat $399
Paige Flare Denim $305
Likely Bow Blouse $235

Line Fur Coat $349
Cameo Cut out  Blouse $205
Suncoo Wide Leg Pants $180
Jenny Bird Kain Earrings $85

Statement coats alone are a huge trend this season, taking your outfit from 0-100 and let’s be real, they’re a lot of what people see of you from now until next March. It’s easy to fall back into your classic black trench or camel wrap coat but why not beat the winter blues with a new one.
Fur is your must have luxury item of the season, from short coats to long coats to vests to accessories, we've got some options.

Fashion Overload! This stunning Ted Baker Coat is an instant classic, be bold and go for the colour (as it also comes in a Grey and Camel).
Turtlenecks are great layering pieces for this season, underneath a suit is adding a new twist to your business wardrobe. Now to the power suit, this double breasted, plaid piece of perfection is what we imagine Blair Waldorf to be wearing now-a-days

Parker is becoming a household name for amazing prints and their craftsmanship with silks. This blouse is a show stopper. Bows and scarves are adding drama to our tops, if yours doesn't have one consider adding your own neck tie. Pair it with a simple pencil skirt creating an elegant silhouette and you're set for any social situation.

Parker Silk Blouse $388
Tiger of Sweden Pencil Skirt $149

Dreaming of Gucci but on a real life budget. This velvet blazer feels as good as it looks. It's all about mixing and matching fabrics and prints this season. Ladylike lace with an edgy twist is bringing new life into fall's trends. Balance the volume of your tops with your bottoms, if you're nervous about the bell sleeve, use layers to tone them down.

Maison Scotch Embroidered Blazer $269
Dry Lake Lace Dress $149

We're all obsessed with embroidery, quality is worth the cost in this trend so your pieces stand the test of time. The stunning details on the bodice of this Parker number elevates the dress to a piece of art. If you're going to wear embroidered pieces, let them speak for themselves and keep the accessories to a minimum. These Falke stockings are a good way to match the exciting top of the dress with the bottom, not stealing the spotlight but balancing the look out.

Parker Dress $478
Falke Hosiery $44
